Clean Release® painter’s tape is a high performance, medium-tack tape for use in painting and general purpose applications. It can be applied to glass, vinyl, metal, wood, and painted wallboard where clean removal is required up to 14 days after application. This masking tape is constructed with UV-resistant acrylic adhesive and backing, and is ideal for applications in direct sunlight. For best results, the tape edges should be smoothed with firm finger pressure to ensure sharp paint lines, and removal should be at a 45-degree angle immediately after painting.
